With nine built-in 140W (8ohms, 20Hz-20Khz) amplifiers that can be configured to a host of system designs, the AVR4810 offers unprecedented flexibility and support for high-definition audio and video performance from all digital and analogue sources. The AVR4810 includes 6 HDMI inputs/2 outputs, all certified for HDMI 1.3a as well as featuring Denon’s jitter free Denon Link technology.

The AVR4810 features Denon’s amazing DDSC-HD (Dynamic Discrete Surround Circuit-High Definition) which includes 3 separate 32bit Floating point SHARC DSP chipsets for superior audio decoding and 6 separate Burr Brown 24bit / 192kHz audio DACs to provide absolutely brilliant fidelity.
The AVR4810 has built in decoders for Dolby TrueHD / dts-HD Master audio for multi-channel recordings featured on Blu-ray discs.

Denon have also included in the AVR4810 their award winning Advanced AL24 Multi Channel PCM processor which delivers a superior sonic performance from any CD or PCM source.

The AVR4810 provides the best possible audio playback for portable audio devices such as iPods and MP3 players by including their new Compressed Audio Restorer. The Denon Compressed Audio Restorer uses market leading restoration technologies to increase frequency response and dynamic range that is normally lost in compressed audio formats.

To complement the AVR4810’s state of the art audio processing the Denon engineers have included the superb Anchor Bay ABT2010 VRS video processor chipset. The ABT2010 will convert all analogue video signals to HDMI and scale up to 1080p/24 from flagged discs and will also allow scaling up to 1080p from an HDMI source as well. This means that the AVR4810 will even upscale a HDTV signal from a HDSTB or PVR allowing a complete 1080p solution for every video source.
It also features a wide variety of performance and convenience features, including Vertical Stretch (2.35:1 CinemaScope) Mode, and a Video Control Adjustments Memory by input feature.

Enhanced audio through Audyssey processing
Among the AVR4810’s leading-edge features and capabilities is the inclusion of Audyssey DSX with front height and/or expanded width channels. This advancement allows for a dramatic enhancement of the listener’s 5.1- or 7.1-channel surround experience, adding a vertical component to the horizontal soundfield and/or widening the image field to recreate a more realistic movie theatre-like experience. The enhanced spatial audio effect provides added presence and depth while maintaining the integrity of the source mix and ensuring audio is always appropriate to the source material. Dolby’s newest Pro Logic IIz processing is also included.

Advanced Whole-Home Networking
The AVR4810 also includes DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) networking capabilities, joining other leading-edge products in Denon’s line-up to feature both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g certified) for control and digital media streaming. The AVR4810 allows streaming of audio & pictures files from both PC and Mac and will even allow streaming from a NAS drive if connected to the network.

The AVR4810 includes a host of features geared toward custom integrators, including easy system setup and maintenance from a remote location via a very smart Web interface that can even be resized to allow access via your iPhone or iTouch. This web interface allows custom integrators to diagnose and even fix a customer’s problem from their office and not waste time travelling to a customer’s home. Once the unit is installed, the integrator can simply use VPN technology to access the customer’s network and correct or restore settings that may have accidentally changed.

Providing the AVR4810 is connected to a network with broadband capabilities it will also provide access to Internet Radio with up to 7000 internet radio stations already in the station table. The AVR4810 does not need access to a computer for Internet radio.

Custom Installation-Friendly Features
For total ease and accuracy of set-up, the unit features Audyssey MultEQ XT Auto Setup and Calibration, which allows installers to define the ultimate sound quality for virtually any size or shape room. Also included are Audyssey Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ for complete environment control. The AVR4810 features RS232 and Ethernet for connection to all major 3rd party control systems as well as IR in and outputs and assignable 12 volt triggers for remote switching.

Multi Zone and Multi Room
Flexibility and versatility is the key to the AVR4810 multi room features, it has 4 zone capabilities and can operate via analogue pre-outs for Zone 2 & 3 and digital pre-out for Zone 4; or 4 of the AVR4810s 9 channels can be reassigned to run Zone 2 & 3. The AVR4810 has separate speaker terminals for Zone 2 & 3 which means that they can be hard wired to the AVR4810 without sacrificing up to 9.3 channels in the main theatre room.
