CEDIA has announced that David Meyer has joined the organisation’s professional staff as the Director of Technical Curriculum.

David is a 23-year veteran of the industry having worked in photographics and imaging, home cinema retail, custom installation, product design, manufacturing and distribution. He has been a CEDIA volunteer for over 10 years, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in connectivity (namely HDMI) and video, and during this time he has authored and presented numerous courses.

“We worked with David last year on our successful three-part HDMI webinar series. As we started forming our strategy to expand our technical curriculum portfolio, bringing David onboard was a natural choice,” said CEDIA VP of emerging trends Dave Pedigo.

David is ISF and HAA (level 1) certified and is an HDBaseT Expert Installer. David is also a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE).
