Crystal Screens announces seamless 130” projection screens for the home theatre marketCrystal Screens, which will be at CEDIA 2017 at booth #3451, has announced the availability of two new 130” screens tailored for high-end home cinema.

The screens use the company’s proprietary holographic technology, which rejects ambient light sources and provides uniform optical performance over all colour spectrums. They also feature a 2.4:1 aspect ratio, commonly known as Cinemascope, which is becoming increasingly popular in home theatre installations

The two new screen models include Reflect 2.5 with a 120° viewing angle and 2.5 gain, as well as Reflect 3.0 with a 70° viewing angle and 3.0 gain.

“This screen is a groundbreaking development for high-end home theatres. Our technology and production capabilities are so vastly different than other screen materials that we are able to make the 130” screen without a seam and with all the amazing qualities of our smaller screens such as high gain, outstanding detail and black levels and zero hot spots,” says Crystal Screens director of sales Dave Cusick.

Both screens were designed and manufactured in Crystal Screens’ facility in Torrance, California and include a 3”-wide, velvet covered bezel and proprietary frame tensioning design that is easy to assemble.

The fixed screens ship unassembled, reducing shipping costs and lead times.
