Presented during the show’s opening reception, the ProIntegration Awards were a highlight of the event and celebrated eight categories of professional integration. Serge Philippo, Crestron’s Sales Manager for Eastern Europe & Russia, was on hand to pick up the award which was given for the installation of Crestron equipment by as part of St Petersburg’s modern, hi-tech and fully interactive ‘Universe of Water’ exhibition. “ISR has been a tremendous success for Crestron and this award is just the icing on the cake.” He explains. “In accepting the award we have been able to publicly recognise the enormous contribution and commitment made by Russian dealers like Ascreen, many of whom were at the show.”

“ISR has given us a fantastic platform on which to meet not only our existing Crestron dealers, but many new companies from the Russian Federation and CIS countries and to showcase our latest solutions like DigitalMedia, Prodigy and the V-panels. Such technologies generated a lot of excitement on the stand and have served to confirm that Crestron is the only company for the digital age.” He continues.

ISR visitors were able to see DigitalMedia™ (DM) in action; the first complete HD AV distribution system to allow any mix of AV sources to be distributed throughout a home from a centralised rack location, without loss of quality or inherent latency. More than just another HDMI switcher or extender, DM is a complete, integrated solution that manages, controls and distributes all analogue and uncompressed HD digital content over twisted pair or fibre. DM matrix switchers are flexible, modular systems that can accept virtually every signal type and transmit them long distance as digital DM signals. Built-in exclusive QuickSwitch HDTM eradicates the switching latency that plagues other HDMI switchers by maintaining a constant HDCP handshake with each HDMI device in the system. At the end points, DM receivers control and output HDMI to the display. By eliminating the need to re-authenticate each time a different source is selected, QuickSwitch HDTM achieves very fast switching of HDMI signals, and only Crestron has it for continuous, glitch-free HD switching!

Also on display was the next generation of Crestron touchpanels, including the V Panels. Having taken America by storm at CEDIA Expo in Atlanta, the V Panels feature sleek, stylish design and professional HD performance and are less than two inches deep! Visitors were also able to see Prodigy™; a simple to install, easy to use, and exceptionally affordable control solution that does not require any special wiring, programming or expensive custom installation. Prodigy home automation solutions include home cinema, audio distribution, lighting and climate control. Backed by Crestron quality, expertise and support, Prodigy is inexpensive control without compromise.
