When it comes to multi-room audio, Sonos is a go-to for many integrators. Now the audio systems can be integrated with Crestron’s home automation systems.

Integrators can provide a solution to their clients to easily search, play, pause and adjust volume of their favourite music from a Crestron touch screen and have it played through their Sonos speakers.

The Crestron touch screen will display ‘now playing’ information with artwork and allow the user to add or remove listening zones from around the house.

“The Crestron solution gets even better as we are the only partner who can run the Sonos app from within our native Crestron environment,” says Crestron vice president of residential John Clancy

“All partners can deliver the fundamental Sonos controls but only with Crestron you can access everything Sonos can do directly from within our touch screens.

Sonos and Crestron will both be at CEDIA 2016 demonstrating this functionality at booth #4721.
