Combining affordability with faster processing speeds, onscreen display, long-range wireless support and more memory, PMC3 delivers superior control power, greater expandability, and increased design flexibility for any home.

“PMC3 and PMC3-XP are much more than just new control systems, they’re the future of affordable integrated home automation, with the power and flexibility to control the whole home locally and remotely,” says Crestron vice president of technology Fred Bargetzi.

“The XP model also offers a seamless upgrade path to the full Crestron line, giving home-owners the flexibility to start simple then expand to the unlimited possibilities of Crestron home control on their own terms, when they’re ready.”

PMC3 combines the agility and speed of a computer operating system with the reliability of a network appliance and enables real-time multitasking to seamlessly run up to 10 independent programs simultaneously, all communicating with each other on the same platform.

While a single PMC3 delivers ample processing power to run any size home on its own, it also provides the added flexibility of connecting multiple PMC3 control systems on the same home network for applications where distributed architecture systems are desired. A dynamic on-screen display expands control to the TV, where an easy-to-use graphic interface guides home-owners through simple control of home theatres, lighting, shades, thermostats and other networked home systems. Using a Prodigy hand-held remote, whole house control is fast, easy and reliable.

PMC3-XP Prodigy® Expander and Control System provides a seamless bridge to the entire Crestron home technology line. Home-owners now have the freedom to start small and add Crestron branded systems, such as V-Panel and PROCISE, when ready. Additionally, PMC3-XP completely protects home-owners’ hard-earned technology investment, enabling a smooth, future-poof upgrade path to Crestron without ripping out equipment and starting from scratch.

Built-in Crestron wireless technology enables control signals to be sent hundreds of feet through floors and walls without the need for separate gateways, making PMC3 even more versatile and system design even easier. Connecting directly to a PMC3 control system, the new P-CBDEX Prodigy Wireless Keypad provides the versatility of controlling lighting dimming or a multi room audio system, while the new P-KPLEX Prodigy Wireless Lighting Keypad enables simple, multi-way control of Prodigy wireless switches, dimmers and lamp dimmers.

Available from the iTunes App Store, Crestron Mobile Pro and Mobile Pro G apps for Apple iPad and iPhone allow easy connection to PMC3, enabling convenient, reliable mobile home control from anywhere in the world.
