For the first time, Prodigy can support the full Crestron product line, unlocking expansion possibilities. Crestron is also introducing the PMC3 control system. With more power, speed and memory, PMC3 and PMC3-XP enable more scalability. Multiple systems throughout the house can be interconnected to control more systems and devices than ever before. A dynamic on-screen display (OSD) extends control to the TV, where a custom interface guides homeowners through control of AV, lighting/shades, HVAC and all other connected systems.

“This is the most exciting development since we introduced Prodigy a year ago,” says Crestron director of marketing Vincent Bruno.

“Now homeowners can start out with simple home audio and wireless lighting control and grow the system to include DigitalMedia, PROCISE professional audio processing, V-Panel ultra-high performance touchpanels, Sonnex digital audio transport and the ADMS.”

The proven Crestron wireless technology built into the latest Prodigy controllers delivers more stability and scalability than ever before. More than 100 wireless Prodigy devices can be supported with just one gateway. Wireless control signals can travel hundreds of feet through floors and walls for portability and clean installations. Connectivity with Apple and Android-based mobile devices places remote access and control of a Prodigy home in the palm of your hand, wherever you may be.

The Prodigy line of simple and affordable home control products continues to grow exponentially. The new P-MD6X4 digital video distribution system manages protected HDMI content for flawless multi-room HD video. Rock the house with new Excite in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, which offer excellent sound quality and flexible multi-room installation in a range of popular sizes. The new PLX3 handheld remote is beautifully designed, powerful and ergonomic, with a high-resolution colour LCD screen and a minimum range of 100 feet indoors. The innovative PTX6 is a 6” wireless touchpanel that delivers both roaming and fixed control. The inconspicuous, low-profile docking station enables quick charging.
