Designed for the Prodigy line of simple, affordable entertainment and control solutions, the PAMP-4X100 delivers six stereo sources to four rooms at 50W per channel, and can be expanded up to 12 rooms. Room volume control and source selection are available from the front panel, a PTL4 touch panel, PLX2 handheld remote, wired or wireless audio keypads, iPhone or iPod touch.

“Our new Prodigy line has been hugely successful,” said Vin Bruno, Crestron Director of Marketing. “It’s been really exciting to be able to offer simple, affordable home control backed by Crestron quality and support.”

Prodigy by Crestron delivers the power, flexibility and reliability of Crestron to more people and more homes than ever before. The new multi-zone processor amplifier distributes music throughout the house with a simple touch of a button. Connect up to two P-IDOCVs (Interface for Apple iPod), the PT-AMFMXM tuner or any other audio source to select and play personal music choices in any room. Adding rooms to the system is as simple as connecting additional PAMP-4X100s.

Prodigy is scalable and it’s easy to set up; there’s no system design or expensive installation. Prodigy Composer guides you through a few simple steps using basic drop down menus and check boxes. The software provides all the logic and creates touchscreen interfaces automatically in the background. The wizard is intuitive, so no special training is needed to get a system up and running in minutes.
