Crestron is now shipping the DigitalMedia (DM) NVX Series, the latest addition to Crestron’s range of DigitalMedia products.

The DDM NVX Series enables the transmission of 4K60 4:4:4 HDR video over standard 1Gbps Ethernet with no latency. It provides an infinitely scalable network AV solution, from a simple point-to-point setup to thousands of endpoints, and requires only DM NVX Series encoders/decoders. While other network AV products rely on 10Gbps Ethernet and don’t scale beyond a single switch, the DM NVX Series leverages standard enterprise-grade 1Gbps network infrastructure, which is ten times more scalable at a fraction of the cost.

It uses the most advanced network security technologies, including 802.1X authentication to ensure every DM NVX device is explicitly authorised, Active Directory credential management so only authorized administrators gain access and Secure CIP protocol to secure connections between DM NVX and Crestron control systems.

Intelligent software residing in the DM NVX Series encoder/decoder boxes and cards makes configuring, deploying, and managing entire systems from the web simple. Integrators choose sources and displays and easily adjust settings to meet the needs of the application and infrastructure.

The DM NVX Series is comprised of DM NVX encoder/decoder boxes (DM-NVX-350, DM-NVX-351), DM NVX encoder/decoder cards (DM-NVX-350C, DM-NVX-351C), and the DM NVX Card Chassis (DMF-CI8).

The encoders/decoders feature built-in USB 2.0 routing, DSP and breakaway audio, HDCP 2.2 support, auto-switching, all-in-one encoding/decoding and support Ethernet natively, as well as fibre with optional SPF modules.
