New Crestron products were honoured with three Electronic Lifestyles awards in a wide range of home technology categories including home control, high definition surround sound processing, and energy management software.

Crestron won a total of eleven product awards at the show. Crestron was also the control system in nearly 75% of the winning Designer Award installations, including 15 of 16 Gold winners, more than any other company.

The CEDIA Designer Awards competition honours the best projects by CEDIA installers in categories such as Best Integrated Home, Best Media Room, and Best Large Home Theatre.

“Crestron congratulates each winner in every category, and we commend their hard work, dedication and ingenuity in driving our industry forward,” says Crestron executive vice president Randy Klein.

“We’re especially proud to have contributed to the success of so many of the dealers who were honoured this year.”

Recognising only one winner out of hundreds of entrants for each category, the UFO-ER Handheld Wireless Touchpanel won the Horizon Award which honours the best in future home technology.

Fusion Viridian energy management software received the Sustainable Lifestyles Product Innovation Award for best energy saving solution.

The PROCISE High-Definition 7.3 surround sound processor won the first annual Attendees’ Choice Award, as voted on by installers attending the week long trade show.

“Crestron is proud to have our new generation of home technology products so well received by the industry experts here at CEDIA, and by our dealers,” says Crestron director of marketing Vincent Bruno.

“This is a strong statement that obviously confirms our dedication to home technology innovation, the CE industry, and our long term commitment to engineering the future.”

“CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles Awards represent the electronic systems industry’s best work,” says CEDIA chief executive Utz Baldwin.

“These award winners are at the leading edge of the innovation that will keep this industry moving forward.”
