By switching loads off when not required you can reduce the “Vampire Power” load, which currently accounts for 22% of appliance consumption or almost 10% of total energy usage in the home or business.

With the DIN-8SW8 these loads can be turned fully off allowing significant saving to be made. As part of a complete Crestron based energy management system these saving can quickly add up. With advanced scheduling and control based on environmental conditions as well as user requirements a Crestron based solution allows great flexibility and a better user experience.

With 8 channel of 10A switching (5A Inductive) the DIN-8SW8 is a compact yet powerful addition to the Crestron DIN Rail mount Energy Control system range that comprises a Processor, a universal dimmer, motor controller for Blinds or Screens, 1-10v dimmers, Digital and Analog inputs and Power Supply. All units communicate using the CresNet communication bus, allowing the units to be added to any Crestron System from the smallest to the largest distributed systems.
