Featuring ultra-bright high resolution graphics, capacitive touch screen technology, edge-to-edge glass, Core 3 UI graphics, and H.264 streaming video, all models install easily on a standard wall box to satisfy the requirements of the most demanding custom integrators, interior designers and tech savvy end-users.

Built-in Rava SIP Intercom technology provides the added convenience of full duplex intercom, VoIP telephone and group paging functionality. The 7-inch TSW-750 is available now with the 5-inch TSW-550 and 10-inch TSW-1050 being scheduled for release following ISE.

“The TSW family of touch screens features the gorgeous design elements of today’s popular mobile devices, advanced high resolution graphics and animations, and highly responsive performance to deliver an incredible user experience,” says Crestron International vice president of sales and marketing Robin van Meeuwen.

“Available screen sizes and pricing is comparable to the latest consumer tablets but with the power and reliability of Crestron control.”

The capacitive touch screen offers fast, highly responsive touch action, making TSW as easy to navigate as a smart phone or mobile device. Powered by Core 3 UI, users can interact with animated and 3D GUI effects and gestures navigation to swipe, scroll, drag, and drop, while browsing through music and movie libraries, TV/radio stations and control apps. Cool kinetic effects provide an interactive experience when using custom knobs, sliders, and gauges to adjust and monitor any integrated system, including heating and cooling systems, lighting, home theatres, multiroom audio, security cameras and any other connected device.

Five soft-touch buttons provide quick access to commonly used functions. Pre-labeled with icons for ‘Power’, ‘Home’, ‘Lights’, ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ functions, each button is programmable via the control system for custom functionality and added one-touch convenience.

Exclusive Rava SIP Intercom technology enables hands-free full-duplex VoIP communication between any two Rava-enabled Crestron touch screens and third-party door stations, with no SIP server required. Telephone and group paging service lets you communicate with anyone inside or outside of the home. Built-in microphone and speakers eliminate the need for external third-party devices and connections, providing everything needed to converse clearly with others, either locally or across the globe.

PoE connectivity simplifies installation for both new and retrofit applications. The 7″and 10″TSW models install using a standard 2-gang box or can be attached directly to drywall and other surfaces. TSW magnetically adheres to its mounting bracket, eliminating any visible screws and providing a clean, elegant appearance in any interior design. All control, video, intercom and power signals are transmitted over a single Ethernet wire with one connection, eliminating the hassles of pulling bundles of wire through walls and floors. Additionally, by obtaining operating power through the LAN wiring, PoE technology eliminates the need for a local power supply or any dedicated power wiring. Optional tabletop mounting kits will also be available for all TSW models soon.

High-performance H.264 streaming video capability enables crisp and colorfully vivid viewing of streaming video on the 800 x 480 widescreen display. Users can view content from media servers, including the Crestron Network Video Streamer, security cameras, web cameras and other H.264 streaming video sources.

The Core 3 UI range will be released in Australia in March.
