The CLC-C certification training supports the tremendous growth that Crestron Commercial Lighting is experiencing, and provides additional client support from Crestron partners. Introduced more than 20 years ago, Crestron Lighting Control Systems were developed to effectively and efficiently run commercial facilities of all sizes and configuration. CLC-C certification ensures that all Crestron Lighting Control Systems are designed and installed seamlessly.

As a cornerstone of Crestron integrated technology, the ability to deliver consistent and quality commercial lighting control solutions is essential. For this reason, Crestron hand selects Crestron Authorised Independent Programmers (CAIPs) and AV integrators from their more than 4,000 worldwide partners to participate in CLC-C training courses. The integrators develop new skill sets, including Crestron lighting, to complement their extensive knowledge and training in Crestron control.

The intensive three-day curriculum teaches Crestron Lighting Control System design, installation and programming. The class provides students with an overview of Crestron commercial lighting control systems, including centralised, distributed, room building and enterprise solutions. The Crestron Lighting Control Software provides system configuration and programming demonstrations.

“We are proud to award the new graduates with CLC-C certification,” says Crestron Lighting Control director of marketing and education Shayna Bramley.

“With our network of CLC-C certified professionals around the globe, Crestron now offers an added layer of support for commercial lighting control systems that is unmatched by any commercial lighting control company.”

“Crestron is the only manufacturer driving building AV and lighting control integration,” says ControlWorks president Jim Felderman.

“We are proud to be part of the elite network of trained certified professionals, and look forward to bringing these truly integrated solutions to our consultants, building engineers and facility managers.”

Crestron Commercial Lighting Control support is available at its global headquarters in NJ, 11 regional offices and through CLC-C certified professionals across the globe. CLC-C certification allows systems integrators to participate in long-term service contracts to provide design, installation and maintenance of Crestron Lighting Control Systems. Local building owners and facility managers receive access to local resources for continuous maintenance of their Crestron systems.

“CLC-C certification helps strengthen our network of trusted professionals who can support Crestron lighting control solutions for years to come,” adds Shayna.

Commercial Lighting Controls – Certification (CLC-C) training courses are recognized by American Institute of Architects (AIA), Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental, Association of Energy Engineers, Association of Energy Engineers and AABC’S Commissioning Authority for certification credits. Crestron hosts CLC-C training classes six times a year at Crestron Worldwide Headquarters in Rockleigh, NJ.
