BluOS offers the broadest collection of music sources for high resolution playback:
- Rip CDs into 24-bit/192kHz storage via the on-board disc drive, directly download High Res music without a computer to an internal RAID of two x 2TB hard drives,
- Stream from a cloud service, or
- Plug in an existing digital music library from a hard drive
The M50.2 is also elegantly designed, with a bright control panel and a sleek and streamlined look that will complement almost any décor.
M50.2 digital music player is a major upgrade on the company’s M50 and builds upon its predecessor’s legacy with a variety of performance upgrades and innovative features.
The second addition to the Masters Series is the M32 direct digital amplifier, an elegant, top-of-the-line integrated amplifier featuring range of features that offer maximum flexibility and excellent efficiency with reduced noise and distortion.
DirectDigital amplification combines all pre-amplification and power amplification functions into a single amplifying stage and with 150W x 2 on tap, M32 is a true digital amp (not just Class D). It is computer controlled and amplifies entirely in the digital domain, converting to analogue at the speaker terminals to give it the shortest signal path possible.
There are four Modular Design Construction slots with three for customisation and expandability and all are 24-bit/192kHz capable.
M32 includes a phono input and a dedicated headphone amplifier to accommodate music lovers of all kinds and is able to accommodate a BluOS MDC module.
BluOS is an advanced operating system for music management and control that includes support for local NAS drives and premium internet streaming audio services like Spotify, Tidal and many others.
It also contains a comprehensive set of analogue and digital inputs that will satisfy the needs of almost all potential owners. Control of M32 is enhanced thanks to a large front-panel touch display and extensive set up flexibility as well as App control and a supplied IR remote control.
“NAD has redefined the modern audio component system in an entirely new way, starting with the M2 DirectDigital Amplifier a few years ago and culminating in 2015 with the ground-breaking M12 Preamp DAC and M22 power amplifier,” explains Brands for Convoy general manager John Martin.
“NAD has eliminated obsolescence with Modular Design Construction while expanding the frontiers of connectivity with BluOS. The M32 and M50.2 are not just future proof, they are the future.”
