Collaboration solutions as Logitech and Extron join forces
New collaboration solutions are in place as Logitech and Extron Electronics work together through the Logitech collaboration program. The new solutions are part of updated collaboration tools and contribute easy automation and control integration to contemporary workspaces.
Extron control systems can be used for Logitech products, as can digital video switching or audio signal processors. An expansion of meeting features will be available and convenient for AV room control.
Extron vice president of worldwide sales and marketing Casey Hall says, “This is an exciting time, as Extron and Logitech are combining complementary technologies to provide powerful, turn-key collaboration solutions for the modern meeting space. Logitech SmartDock and Logitech Tap are automating the meeting experience for huddle spaces or any environment that can benefit from the convenience of combined communication and powerful AV room control.”
Meeting rooms can allow video signal detection and sensors to enable automatic video switching, display presets and lighting. Extron also uses an on-screen control interface and can be maintained with Microsoft SCCM system centre configuration manager.
