Cleerline Technology Group, distributed by Audio Visual Distributors in Australia, has introduced the SSF-2x8PoE-RUGGED, a 2×8 switch engineered to withstand extreme environments.

The switch includes two SFP Gigabit ports with eight ports of Gigabit Ethernet and can deliver eight ports of PoE+, 30W per port, while the units case can be used in temperatures from -40°C to 75°C

The IP40 rating allows the switch to work in mechanical and electrical environments. The switch has 6kV surge protection per port and is compliant with IEC and EN standards for industrial grade equipment.
