Japanese manufacturer, Christie has launched a new versatile series of LCD flat panels rated for 24/7 use in control rooms of government facilities, public utilities, security and surveillance, telecommunications and transportation.

The first editions of the series, the FHD492-XV and FHD552-XV LCD flat panels, deliver a display which Christie says is “flawless”.

With a combined 13mm (6.5mm per side) bezel, the new series is ideal for control rooms using multiple images on multiple screens.

The manufacturer has also released a network distributed processor called the Phoenix EP which can be installed directly into compatible displays, including the FHD492-XV and FHD552-XV.

“The Christie FHD492-XV and FHD552-XV are very affordable options in tiled video wall displays where bezel width isn’t of primary importance,” said Christie senior product manager Andy Clipsham.

“They can not only be tiled in portrait or landscape mode, they can be used individually in spaces including lobbies, sports bars, retail establishments, family entertainment centres and stadiums.”

Christie will ship the FHD492-XV and FHD552-XV in November 2016 with a three-year parts and labour warranty.

Christie is distributed by Ingram Micro in Australia.
