Chowmainsoft has released the ELK E27 security panel driver for Control4, a modern IP and cloud-centric hybrid control system with robust hardwire and wireless capabilities.

Providing secure connectivity with multi-layered authentication and encrypted communications with an onboard Ethernet port and optional WiFi adapter, E27 offers powerful automation with simplified scheduling and a rules engine for unrestricted customisation. Easy integration with Z-Wave devices provides convenient automation and real-time control of lights, thermostats, locks and garage doors.

Integrating E27 to Control4 provides functionalities for the end user alarm interface, including full support for all eight areas, away, stay and disarm arm modes, bypass/unbypass functionality, area chime control as well as fire, police and medical emergency functionality.

Also offered are detailed feedback of actioned items, zone feedback, visual feedback of warnings and troubles, optional web view driver for alarm history logs, output control and feedback along with Z-Wave device integration with lights (dimmer), locks (lock/unlock), garage doors (open/close) and thermostats (mode, fan mode, dual setpoints, presets, schedules).

For installers, E27 brings features including easy push/email notifications for arming, disarming, alarm, bypass and trouble events (4Sight Required), auto setup and commissioning of discovered Z-Wave Devices (lights, locks, garage doors and thermostats), programmable area events and programmable commands with activation of tasks, bypass/unbypass zone, bypass/unbypass area and output control.

Zone integration, output integration, extended variables and history agent logging are also available.
