Chowmainsoft has released the Paradox EVO driver for Control4, a line of advanced security panel solutions engineered to meet the diverse security requirements of residential and commercial properties.

Known for its flexibility and scalability, EVO panels support extensive zone expansion, advanced access control and integration capabilities, allowing for comprehensive protection across multiple areas.

The EVO line’s compatibility with various third-party systems, including Control4, makes it a versatile choice for integrators seeking a secure and efficient solution adaptable to evolving security requirements.

The end-user interface supports all eight areas and offers various modes, including away, stay, instant, force and disarm. It also provides functionality for fire, police and medical emergencies.

Users can view feedback on actioned items, zone status and warnings or troubles visually. A history view displays all Paradox events and the interface allows users to arm or disarm all areas, reset smoke detectors and perform utility key actions. Additionally, users can open or close virtual inputs.

Installers can set up push or email notifications for arming, disarming, alarms, troubles and zone events with 4Sight. The system automatically sets up and commissions discovered zones, adding Control4 generic contact sensor drivers based on zone type. Installers can customise area, zone and user labels as well as configure driver panels and trouble events. Dynamic area, utility key and virtual PGM events are also supported.

Programmable commands allow for command passthrough, requesting area or zone status, setting virtual input state, resetting smoke detectors and executing utility keys. Dynamic utility key relay bindings and extended variables are available. The system includes a history agent for logging.

All drivers come with a 90-day trial and are exclusively only available on the Chowmainsoft website.
