Chowmainsoft has released the Luminys driver, enabling integration with the Control4 automation platform. The driver allows integrators to manage and monitor Luminys cameras directly through Control4 interfaces, expanding capabilities for connected security and smart building environments.

The integration supports cameras connected either directly through a network switch or via a network video recorder (NVR). Users can view live video feeds through Control4 interfaces, while also accessing pan, tilt and zoom controls and camera presets.

The driver also supports Control4 push notifications with snapshot capability, alongside a wide range of smart event triggers designed to enhance monitoring and automation workflows.

Supported events include VideoMotion, SmartMotionHuman and SmartMotionVehicle detection, as well as alerts for VideoLoss, VideoBlind, AudioMutation and AudioAnomaly. Additional analytics features include CrossLineDetection, CrossRegionDetection, WanderDetection, CrowdDetection, ParkingDetection and MoveDetection.

Operational alerts such as StorageNotExist, StorageFailure and StorageLowSpace are also supported, along with AlarmOutput and VideoAbnormalDetection notifications. Advanced detection capabilities including FaceDetection, FireWarning, HeatImagingTemper, ObjectPlacementDetection and ObjectRemovalDetection enable integrators to build automated responses and more advanced security workflows within Control4 environments.
