Chowmain Software has released a WiZ Connected driver for Control4.

WiZ Connected is an Internet of Things software solution provider focused on delivering easy-to-use, WiFi-based smart lighting. Owned by Signify, WiZ serves both consumer and professional markets in more than 70 countries.

WiZ products include dimmers, smart plugs, modern bulbs, filament bulbs, downlights, outdoor lights, LED strips, floor lamps, bar lights, table lamps and more.

The WiZ driver for Control4 automatically detects WiZ products on your network (with self-healing on IP address changes) and automatically installs the product drivers for each device detected.

Lighting products will automatically show the correct user interface depending on capabilities (on/off, brightness, colour temperature, brightness and scenes, etc).

Smart plug products provide relay bindings so you can bind it to your product of choice and also have a definable experience button so you can choose your icons of choice including localised plug type images designed inhouse by Chowmain’s graphic designer.
