Chowmain Software & Apps has released the Blustream PLA88CS driver for RTI, a powerful AV matrix switcher designed to provide seamless switching and distribution of high-quality AV signals.

This device features eight HDMI inputs and eight HDBaseT outputs along with two independent HDMI outputs. It also supports resolutions up to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) with support for HDR content.

One of the key features of the Blustream PLA88CS is its ability to transmit HDMI signals over long distances using HDBaseT technology. With HDBaseT, the device can transmit AV and control signals up to 70m using a single Cat5e/6 cable, providing flexible installation options for AV professionals.

The device also includes advanced audio features such as support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats.

RTI Driver functionality includes IP Control, a comprehensive set of tags for easy programming in the integration designer Apex, a volume control in percentage form along with volume Up/Down controls in addition to the sliders. Also provided is a sample project which contains all of the driver’s functions.

In addition, a feature allowing for the adding of inputs and their names as well as the naming of audio outputs is included for easy macro programming, and selection of events that you can use to trigger custom automation if the receiver changes state, regardless of whether it was triggered by RTI or on the Blustream device.
