Chowmain releases Auslock driver for Control4

Chowmain has released the Auslock driver for Control4, providing keyless entry to homes and allowing users to lock and unlock their doors using their smartphones or other connected devices.

With its advanced technology and user-friendly interface, Auslock provides homeowners with a secure and convenient way to control and monitor access to their homes. The driver will allow users to add, modify or delete users via Control4’s navigator interface for PIN codes only.

The Auslock comes with an app that must be used to manage non-PIN-based permissions and will obtain events from access via these non-PIN-based accesses.

The lock does not support RFID, fingerprint or other forms of management.

The main features of the smart lock include remote access, temporary access codes, activity logs and integration with voice assistants and other smart home systems.

Other variables of the smart lock are available including the battery level coming as a percentage, which you can use with the Battery Indicator driver, as well as the Last user variable.

Auslock also offers programming commands comprising of Set lock state to Lock, Unlock or Toggle, Disable Auto-Lock and Set Auto-Lock Time. It can also come specific to events.

The driver requirements include Control4 OS 3.3.2. Control4 HC Series controllers are not supported, with only EA and Core controllers supported. An Auslock-compatible lock and Auslock-compatible gateway/hub are also required.

Integrating seamlessly with existing door hardware, the Auslock can be easily installed without the need for extensive modifications.
