Chief is now shipping the Tempo Series flat panel floor support system

Chief, distributed by Midwich in Australia, has released the Tempo system, its latest AV mounting solution.

The solution allows for quick flat panel installation by using the floor to support the weight instead of the wall. This eliminates the need for wall inspection and eliminates any potential costs that may be needed with repairing.

This is particularly useful across enterprise rollouts.

“The solution was first conceived for a customer who wanted to install 1,000 conference rooms in 90 days,” Chief product manager Tony Caruso says.

“That goal was impossible when considering the amount of time it would take to schedule wall inspections and remediate any deficiencies before a mount can be installed.”

Engineers at Chief designed an extra slim system that is made to be paired with the Fusion and Fit Series of wall mounts, sold separately to the Tempo Series system.

The two uprights that support the mount can be moved to accommodate any outlets or obstructions the installer may want to avoid, while still maintaining a flat panel.

Cables can be run up and down the uprights or behind the middle cover with markings on the uprights making height adjustment easy.
