The technology is now available for use in the residential network integration market channel. Known as the Home Cyber Shield, the product incorporates a network system and device monitoring software backed by eight years of use by the Department of Defence, in addition to a Secure Access Manager (SAM) platform that encrypts and masks all IP addresses and log-in credentials (username/password) from authorised users. CCS will be demonstrating the Home Cyber Shield product group, at the CEDIA Expo an industry trade organisation, 23-26 September, 2010 in Atlanta.

The Home Cyber Shield is a network monitoring and secure access solution designed to be fully contained within an electronic system contractor’s facility, without having to outsource client network and password privacy to third-party IT companies.

CSS chief executive Russ Pritchard says “Our patent-pending technology for securely managing individual access to end-user network devices, ease of use without having to possess extensive IT knowledge, and easy-to-navigate point-and-click navigation make this the solution to address all of the security and performance issues in today’s residential networks. It is robust enough to grow as ESC’s see more IP enabled technology come to market.”
