As home theatre electronics and technologies evolve at a rapid pace, retailers must stay up-to-date on advancements that affect their customers’ entertainment experiences. Along with its manufacturing partners around the world, including Acurus, Integra, JVC and M&K Sound, THX will look to identify, provide resources for, educate and promote retailers who offer their customers quality advice on product selection as well as insight into technologies proven to enhance the home entertainment experience.

“Consumers continue to demand a more immersive home entertainment experience and because of that, retailers want access to best-practices and information to better guide their customers to the products and technologies that best meet their specific tastes and requirements,” says THX Ltd partner marketing manager Matt Severaid.

“Our new THX Retailer Program is designed to provide resellers with easy access to decades of accumulated knowledge about technology and high performance CE products. Ultimately, our goal is to raise the level of knowledge across the board so that people who have a passion for movies and music can understand how to assess and compare their entertainment technology to improve and enhance that experience. That process often takes place at retail, where questions are asked and advice is given.”

A premier retailer will be provided with a plaque to display in their store, be listed on THX’s website retailer locator for consumers to access and find the nearest certified reseller, and will have access to the THX Dealer Resources page providing reference materials and additional links to THX recommended learning resources and marketing tools.

“Audio comprises more than half of the entertainment experience and as technologies, devices and complete home systems rapidly evolve, the need for retailers to keep up-to-date on best practices becomes ever-more important,” says Integra director of sales Keith Haas.

“We are excited to partner with THX in its new THX Retailer Program to help educate resellers around the world and provide access to the best information at their finger-tips. It is important leading companies like ourselves aid in the selling experience and make the product selection meet the needs of every customer.”
