CEDIA US 2013: New RTI Products On Show
Clear Connect Interface Module (CCM-1)
RTI has teamed up with Lutron, a world-renowned leader in lighting control, to develop a brilliant new solution to redefine high-voltage lighting control. The Clear Connect Interface Module (CCM-1 – pictured) allows installers to easily integrate select Lutron RadioRA 2 dimmers, switches, sensors, and plug-in devices into RTI’s cost-effective control systems, while programming the devices natively from RTI’s award-winning Integration Designer programming software. Making its debut at CEDIA EXPO 2013, the CCM-1 is used to integrate RTI directly with specific Lutron RadioRA 2 devices, which communicate via Lutron’s Clear Connect RF Technology.
T2i and T2x Wireless Control Interfaces
RTI’s T2i and T2x remote controls take style to an unprecedented level with thinner, sleeker, and more ergonomic designs. For improved gesture support, the handheld controllers feature flush-mount, edge-to-edge touch screens, while integrated grip sensors conveniently keep the remotes awake while they’re being held. Complementing their design with unparalleled functionality, the T2i and T2x offer a dual RF platform for either one-way control via 433-MHz RF or bidirectional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics through 2.4-GHz ZigBee. In addition the T2x boasts Wi-Fi support, which enables wireless updating, and a groundbreaking, built-in accelerometer for control by hand movements.
Cost-Effective KX2 Wired Control Interface
New additions to the KX line of wired control interfaces will be on display at CEDIA EXPO 2013, including the KX2 in-wall controller, which delivers high-end features at a low cost. At 2.8 inches, the affordable KX2 LCD is small enough to blend into any environment, yet provides the resolution necessary for displaying custom buttons, text, and graphics. When approached by an end user, a proximity sensor automatically brings the unit to life. The controller’s 12 hard buttons and graphic interface are fully programmable using RTI’s Integration Designer software. The KX2’s infrared output port provides direct control of A/V components, while the integrated 10/100Base-T Ethernet port with Power-over-Ethernet provides two-way control and additional installation flexibility.

XP Control Processors
At CEDIA EXPO 2013, RTI will have the latest additions to its XP line of control processors on display, including the revolutionary new XP-4. Offering an HDMI video output and two inputs for an on-screen display control interface, the XP-4 provides bidirectional communication with supported third-party electronics through an integrated 2.4-GHz ZigBee transceiver and two bidirectional RS-232 ports. An Ethernet connection allows for software downloads, IP control, and support for the RTiPanel and Virtual Panel.
