The TDC, part number 95A03-1TWH, is designed to be used with Leviton’s Omnistat2 RC-2000 series thermostats as an easy-to-access interface. Leviton’s RC-2000 series thermostats can control both single and multi-stage HVAC systems, and are available using either hard-wired communication or ZigBee wireless.

The device is designed to be mounted on the wall for a clean and attractive appearance, allowing the device’s easy-to-use controls and the bright OLED display to make the adjustment of interior comfort settings both simple and beautiful. Users can dial the desired temperature up or down, adjust fan settings and more.

The TDC has a built-in temperature sensor that can be averaged with other TDC sensors and/or the sensor in the RC-2000 thermostat. Temperature averaging amongst these devices ensures precise reading and automation for enhanced energy efficiency.

“In many instances, home or building owners are hiding the thermostat in a utility closet or somewhere near the actual heating/cooling unit in order to maintain a ‘clean’ look throughout the space,” says Leviton Security & Automation president Jay McLellan.

“The Leviton TDC allows for installation in open spaces while providing direct control in a single-gang device that fits neatly next to light switches and Hi-Fi 2 Volume Source Controls.”

The TDC requires use of the TDC Communication Interface (65A60-1), which provides power while facilitating communication with the RC-2000 thermostat. The TDC and the TDC Communication Interface are available in a kit (95A03-1TKT) for easy ordering. Up to four TDCs can be connected to a single TDC Communication Interface. The device is supplied in white with color change kits available in Black (95A11-TWHCS) and Light Almond (95A11-TLACS).
