CEDIA US 2013: Core Brands announces next generation Korus audio matrix controller
Also planned is the Korus wireless audio amplified receiver, a solution for extending wireless streaming to traditional bookshelf or hard-to-reach architectural speakers while synchronised with speakers connected to the audio matrix controller.
The Korus audio matrix controller and its supporting user app will be demonstrated at CEDIA 2013 booth 1120, and both Korus products will be available in market in Q2 2014.
The new Korus whole-home audio matrix controller is ideally suited for custom installers to add a next generation multi-room, multi-device wireless streaming experience to new installations or currently installed architectural and bookshelf speakers. This next generation audio platform provides installers with the widest possible breadth of whole-home audio install configuration options; and provides their customers unprecedented ease of use, compatibility with existing speakers and flexibility of daily use – and therefore lower post-install support.

This platform is flexible and modular in nature, working seamlessly with Core Brands’ pioneering audio lines such as Speakercraft, Niles, Proficient and Sunfire, as well as other wired speakers from competitors, and any Play-Fi enabled speaker.
