Awards include special recognition of innovative Control4 projects within the light commercial and residential space, including categories such as lighting, multi-room audio, security, climate, corporate solutions, and more.

Taking home the most prestigious of the awards, Abt Electronics out of Chicago, Illinois, was named the Control4 Dealer of the Year for 2013.

“Abt has a long history in the electronics industry, and they have impressed us with their business, sales, and double digit growth year after year, even in tough economic times,” Jim says.

“Their in-house technical support staff is amazing. Couple that with the strong customer relationships they’ve been able to foster and it’s no wonder Abt has continuously been able to drive new business opportunities.”

The Control4 4Thought award, now in its second year, recognises one dealer that has had a substantial impact within their community through service, donation and contribution.

“We think it’s important to for all businesses to have a social conscience, and many of our dealers are making good use of Control4 system integration for philanthropic work in their communities,” Jim adds.

The second annual 4Thought Award was presented to Extreme AVS in Hauppauge, New York. Extreme AVS used Control4 automation to help the Donnelly Donation Project in creating a smart home for a wounded Iraq War veteran, who is also the recipient of a Purple Heart.

Neu Wave Systems Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina was presented with the Control4 Tech Support Choice Award for offering superior technical support and knowledge.
