The second new family includes an inclusive selection of video distribution components, including HDBaseT matrices, HDMI matrices, HDBaseT extenders (Rx/Tx pairs and Rx baluns), HDMI switches and HDMI distribution amps.

Clare created its Select Program to address problems that all CE professionals – not just their own dealers – encounter regularly in their daily operations. Accordingly, components placed within the program address targeted opportunities to improve upon the traditional price, performance, and/or form factor of other generally available products.

Clare Controls App

The Clare Controls Cross-Platform App delivers a seamless user-configured experience, across locations, languages, and mobile platforms. Clare delivers support for the popular Android smart phone as a logical extension of its established Clare Controls App for iOS devices and its unique “People Over Places” orientation. Universal proficiency is assured through a seamless port of Clare’s Apple-like experience to the Android platform. Users of both platforms design and maintain their own interfaces, based on the things they love to do, and not only the rooms they happen to be in. The Android App will be available Q4, 2013.

CLIQ.host and CLIQ.connect

The award-winning CLIQ.host module sets a new entry point for complete Clare Controls home automation systems. The heart of the ClareOS Technology Ecosystem, the CLIQ.host controller provides device management services to all the customers’ applications, mediates all user interface interactions and acts as the gateway to the ClareCloud for automatic system updates.

Larger projects can be accommodated by deploying the CLIQ.host with a CLIQ.connect module, which doubles the controller’s I/O. The CLIQ.connect module (and additional functionality modules TBD) employ auto-discovery technology that works with system software to render the units seamlessly interoperable, enabling upward scalability with near-zero configuration. This, coupled with the modules’ inbuilt ease of interconnection makes the CLIQ.host an ideal controller for a broad range of projects.

Amp 1640

The Clare amp.1640 packs 16 channels (eight zones) of exceptional Class D amplification into a space-saving 1 U rack-mounted chassis. Using technologies designed by ICEpower, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bang & Olufsen, the amp.1640 addresses common installation headaches with a run-cool design in a compact form factor.

The Clare amp.7150, is a premium seven-channel amplifier based on the same B&O ICEpower Class D amplification technology. Designed to meet today’s demand for “large sound from small boxes,” the amp.7150 delivers a cool 150W per channel in just two rack spaces.

The amplifiers’ release kicks off Clare’s Select Program, in which an evolving line of problem-solving components will be offered to custom integrators including – but not limited to – Clare’s own family of authorised dealers.
