CEDIA hosting Australian Disability Tech Summit

CEDIA has announced its upcoming CEDIA Australian Disability Tech Summit, a half-day virtual event that focuses on the vital role of smart assistive technology in the NDIS sector.

This event will provide a fantastic opportunity to learn about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in this important and rapidly evolving field.

A number of keynote presentations and educational sessions have been designed to help attendees to develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the NDIS market.

Speakers include: Ian Croless from Carefall, Kenton Matthews from Snap One, and Matt Manalis from eXperience One.

Highlights of the event include:

  • ‘Designing Homes for the NDIS’, where you’ll learn about the current problems with the SDA Design Standard and CEDIA aims to address them.
  • ‘The Financial Argument’, which explores the incentives on offer to integrators working in the NDIS sector and how you can position yourself to capitalise on this lucrative market.
  • ‘Working with Empathy’, which focuses on the importance of empathy when working in the NDIS sector, and how it can help you provide the best possible service to your clients.
  • ‘The Role of AI in NDIS Homes’, which discusses the ethical implications of AI integration in the NDIS sector and explore the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
