CEDIA has crafted a brand new set of tools that aims to aid integrators when marketing their certifications to both home owners and their industry peers.

The new kit, emailed out to every certified professional, includes a set of CEDIA Certification logos that cater to all levels of certification, which include: CEDIA Electronic Systems Certified (ESC), CEDIA Certified Technician (ESC-T), CEDIA Certified Networking Specialist (ESC-N), and CEDIA Certified Designer (ESC-D).

It also provides access to digital badges through BadgeCert which means digital certifications can be added to email signatures, LinkedIn accounts, websites and any other social media platforms. Each badge also lets clients click on them to verify the status and expiration date of the specific certification as well as showing the knowledge and skills it represents.

“CEDIA professionals work very hard to earn and maintain their certification and we have been looking for new ways to help them elevate this accomplishment,” says CEDIA certification manager David Whitney.

“We are very excited to be able roll out both the new certification logos and the digital badging program right before CEDIA 2017.”

As well as the badges, each CEDIA Certified professional has received marketing collateral that outlines why a homeowner should hire a CEDIA Certified professional. Even better, an email was sent to all these professionals outlining how to make the most of all the tools at their disposal.
