In keeping with previous years, entry to the 2009 Awards will be kept anonymous to maintain the integrity of the scheme and to deliver honest and unbiased results.
After the judging, the winners will be revealed at the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards Night on Thursday 17 July 2009, and will be held at the impressive Doltone House Pyrmont.
Doltone House is a unique waterfront venue nestled on the upper deck of the newly restored Jones Bay Wharf, Pyrmont Point. The unique building has been transformed from its industrial origins into a modern designer space with charming heritage features, in a spectacular location. The location is priceless on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour, with views of the Harbour Bridge, city skyline and Darling Harbour precinct. This stunning setting is matched with modern attitude, making it the perfect place to celebrate the best the home automation industry CEDIA Asia Pacific has to offer.
The event, which will also see the announcement of the ‘Best Website’, ‘10 Year Members’ and ‘2009 Lifetime Achievement Award’, has become highly regarded as a key networking occasion and the standout event of the custom installation industry.
The CEDIA Awards have grown increasingly popular within the industry and this has been reflected in the number of companies entering this year’s scheme.
Stephen Miller, Executive Director of CEDIA Asia Pacific, says “We are ecstatic to see how many entries we received considering the tough environment. Members obviously can see the benefits in entering these prestigious industry awards. The showcases of entries you will see this year have reached impressively high standards never been seen before in our region, and with the increase in submission from 2008 it is officially our biggest awards ever!”
Tickets for the evening include a sit down dinner and entertainment and are priced at $130 per person when pre-booking on-line or $160 per person on-site. Visit www.cedia.com.au/expo
