CEDIA Asia Pacific moves offshore
“In effort to better serve our members, the CEDIA Board of Directors is working diligently to align all CEDIA goods and services globally,” a letter from the association to its local members says.
“The global alignment of all CEDIA member regions will provide greater and increased access to CEDIA training, benefits and tools for members as well as create a more efficient use of organisation resources.”
Efeective immediately, member service and governance provided by CEDIA Asia Pacific will relocate to the CEDIA office in the US city of Indianapolis. With this transition, CEDIA Asia Pacific members will have full and immediate access to headquarter member benefits, online training, pricing and tools.

“All goods and services previously provided by (the Asia Pacific) office will now be provided out of the headquarter office, which includes a lower fee for annual membership dues.
“The Asia Pacific office and board of directors will dissolve and membership in that region will move into the global membership structure and requirements.
“Alexis Caldwell will remain as your local contact through the transition. We promise to make this transition seamless and does not require any action from you.
“In the coming weeks, you will receive your CEDIA membership renewal notice as well as information on how to access your online member account. In addition, a new website has been created for the Asia Pacific region and you will receive the 5 Minute Download enewsletter on the third Tuesday of each month. This newsletter is filled with important information on training, membership information, and tools for your business. Members may submit requests to have job announcements, job vacancies and personnel announcements included in the newsletter monthly.”
