CEDIA announces the release of CEDIA Shield
Developed in association with leading insurance brokers Interrisk, this arrangement leverages the combined strength and buying power of the CEDIA membership, yet at the same time is flexible enough to address the individual requirements of the members.
According to CEDIA Board member Eris McCarthy the potential savings can be greater than the annual CEDIA membership dues. One CEDIA member has already switched their insurance policies and saved in excess of 400% of their annual membership fees.
Alan Lyne of Interrisk is happy for potential CEDIA members to test this claim before committing. Interrisk will offer a no-commitment assessment of current insurance policies, quote on any existing or upcoming policies and compare these to what the individual companies are already paying. The only stipulation is that if the cost savings are attractive enough for the company to take up the offer (which they believe will be the case) they must first become a CEDIA member.
