CEDIA announces new board at AGM
Revealed at the recent CEDIA AGM, the new board now offers broad representation of members’ interests with representatives drawn from across the UK, Ireland, France and Spain.
Robert Hallam of Irish company InControl will continue to serve as chairman for one more year. Stepping down from the board are Simon Buddle from SMC who has spent two years as education chair and Fraser Stride who will no longer as outreach chair, having left Finite Solutions to work with Leeds-based property developer, Citu.
New ESP members appointed to the Board are Matt Dodd from Cambridgeshire-based company, thinkingbricks, who takes up the role of education chair and Claire Scholes from LairdKing in Cornwall who will act as the new membership chair. David Graham of Grahams Hi-Fi moves from Membership to UK outreach chair replacing Gary Lewis of Future Systems who takes over as vice chair and treasurer.

Simon Williams, (Olive) will continue to serve as an active member of the board as immediate past chairman for one more year.

On behalf of CEDIA Region 1, I would like to thank both Simon and Fraser for the many volunteer hours they have contributed to the Association as well as for the high quality of their input which has been invaluable” says Robert Hallam.
“It’s great to welcome new Board members who, no doubt, will have plenty of fresh ideas to bring to the table. Together, as a Board, we look forward to taking the industry forward with initiatives that are focussed on delivering value for all CEDIA members”.
The CEDIA AGM took place on Tuesday 5th October at the Barcelo Walton Hall Hotel in Warwickshire. A copy of the Annual Report which CEDIA has produced to accompany the AGM is available to all members.
