Canohm has been appointed as the Australian distributor for Tyba, an exciting new control system that integrates with market-leading platforms including Crestron, Control4 and KNX. In the Tyba range of solutions is the Turn 2 and the Muse Audio System.

The Turn 2 on-wall controller, on display at Integrate 2022, sits on a wall and can be programmed to control lighting, climate, shades and audio. Replacing the traditional wall mount or tablet, once a user selects what they want to change, it’s just a twist of a dial or touch of the screen.

Using motion sensors, the Turn 2 stays awake whenever you walk towards it, ready for whatever the command may be.

“Tyba is the perfect add-on solution for customers wanting something a little different from their home automation experience. The Turn 2 is a stylish alternative we’ve been waiting for,” Canohm national sales manager – professional Cameron MacKertich says.

“The Turn 2 still gives you the full range of smart home controls including an app.”

On top of the climate control abilities, the Turn 2 comes with a built-in temperature sensor that adjusts automatically to the environment.

Bus Connectors make installation easy. Once installed, simply connect Turn 2 using the magnetic mount. There are no tools required.

The Cresnet and KNX Bus Connectors enable physical connection to the control bus, alternatively, the DC Power Bus Connector is the perfect choice when using WiFi to integrate with Crestron, Control4 or directly with our REST API.

Also in the suite of Tyba products is the Muse Audio system, a powerful playback platform for streaming audio to a near-endless number of Dante endpoints. Ideal for residential, commercial or marine solutions, the Muse solution is able to bring high-quality audio solutions to the end user.

The Muse solution connects with several popular high-quality solutions including Tidal, Deezer and Hi-Res Music. It can play a range of audio files including AAC, ALAC, WAV, FLAC, MP3, AIFF and OGG.

The Muse D16 is an entry-level system that’s capable of 16 independent audio streams over Dante and is ideal for small-to-medium applications where functionality is the priority. The flagship Muse solution is the D64, providing 64 audio streams over Dante and giving users the ultimate choice for power.

Muse Manager, available for Windows, MacOS and Linux, collates all audio platforms into one, making it easier for users to manage content, playlists, stream monitoring and scheduling all in one place.
