B&W CI 600 and CI 700 Series speakers
The CI 600 range of speakers offers reference in-wall and ceiling speakers with value for performance, while the CI 700 Series has been developed for customers that require the best in sonic performance, in environments where space is at a premium.
The CI 600 Series speakers use Bowers & Wilkins designed drive units and careful attention to the voicing means they have a smooth, non-fatiguing sound. As you move up the range, a host of performance enhancements are introduced: Kevlar cones, Nautilus swirl tweeters, larger voice coils and magnets and die-cast drive unit chassis to name a few.
Extensive research and discussions with installers worldwide has led to a number of key refinements which allow the speakers to be mounted efficiently without the need for any tools.

All CI 600 speakers now include Quick Dogs, self-locking mechanisms that tighten the frame securely into place. The range also boasts a newly developed plug-and-play feature: The speaker cable is installed in the frame rather than the speaker so both hands are free to do the installation.
Once in position, terminals on the baffle line up with terminals on the frame to complete the electrical connection, and self-locking pins keep everything in place. There is also a square grille option that can be easily fitted to the round in-ceiling models.
Sound quality is key to the CI 700 Series – To this end the back box has been fully integrated into the speaker for the first time. The enclosure is constructed from a single moulding of glass reinforced ABS, and also incorporates Matrix stiffening to provide an incredibly rigid structure, enhancing the sound quality and limiting the transmission to adjacent spaces.
