Burns Trust and Clipsal National Community Grants Program
A maximum of $15,000 per grant is available per initiative including, but not limited to, provision of services to burn patients and their families, purchasing of specific burn equipment, prevention and education activities.
Round One of the program saw Clipsal by Schneider Electric general manager marketing Chris Quinn present $33,000 in community grants to four recipients at the Australian and New Zealand Burns Association (ANZBA) in Brisbane during October.

• Professor Stuart Pegg Burns Centre, Royal Brisbane Hospital – $10,000 towards burns unit equipment.
• ANZBA National Prevention Committee – $5,000 towards burns awareness activities.
• Victorian Burn Prevention Partnership – $8,000 towards printing and distribution of Stay Safe magazine in Victoria.
• Royal Darwin Hospital Burns Unit – $10,000 towards development, printing and distributing first aid fridge magnets and prevention activities in NT.

Round One Community Grants applications close January 31, 2012. Round Two Community Grants open July 1 and conclude on August 31, 2012.
