Blustream has released the MX22AB-8K 1 matrix, integrating source and display devices of the HDMI 2.1 chipset for 8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz signals.

Independent routing of two HDMI input sources to two HDMI 2.1 displays, the MX22AB-8K can auto-switch based on either detecting a 5V hot plug or a new TMDS signal or be manually controlled using RS-232, IR or from the unit front panel.

Analogue and optical digital (S/PDIF) audio breakout allow for audio integration. The MX22AB-8K is HDCP 2.3 compliant and has advanced EDID management of source devices connected.
