Upcoming Lightware webinars
Lightware has announced its webinars for the upcoming week which aims to cover a range of topics including getting behind the scenes of DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort, Gigabit AV-over-IP and deep technical insight into Lightware’s device controller and event manager.
Beginning today (Tuesday 7 April) at 3pm AEDT, the Lightware webinars kick off with the first of its three part series on Behind the Scenes of DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. The sessions aim to deepen your knowledge of the basic principles of digital video with insights into EDID management. The final part looks into the secrets of HDBaseT and fibre optic connections.

Each of these is in English and parts two and three will air on 8 April at 3pm AEST and 9 April 2020 at 3pm respectively.
The following webinar is a Deep technical insight to the Lightware Device Controller and Event management with two available times on Wednesday 8 April at 12 midday or 4pm AEST.
It will teach participants how to be confident in Lightware installation and management and give tips on becoming an expert on using Lightware’s device controller and updater software, Event Manager and see the possibilities of Lightware’s LW3 open programming protocol.
The final webinar announced by Lightware is Lightware & Icron: USB for Collaboration rooms. Premiering on Tuesday 16 April 2020 at 4pm AEST, the Icron training offers insight to USB basics along with how Icron Transparently manages the USB connection and works within the USB spec.
It will hit subjects such as USB distance limitations, disadvantage in extending USB through hubs, USB network topology and USB endpoint Types. It also introduces Icron advanced OEM Features such as SwitchableUSB, simultaneous user interaction and in-depth USB-C information
