Custom made cookie cutter

We are in the Custom installation business. Every solution is custom made for every client, but behind the scenes we use the same product groups on every project. So the thinking is don’t reinvent the wheel every project, just choose the right wheel for the job! Our internal mantra is we take off the shelf parts and make out of the box solutions.

The custom part is really about taking years of experience with different clients and get to understand what they want and figure out which of our standard choice in products to bring together, and then alter the programming to suit some specific requirements.

The reality of trying to make EVERY project a complete new combination of products that have been untested together is looking for trouble. We tried that a number of years ago and found that the pain level for us in business and the client being the guinea pig is just too much to bear. So the smart business owner is the one who knows how to produce a personalised result with same gear they used on the last 10 projects.

The clients appreciate the small person touches you make, and when most receivers (for example) have very similar characteristics in sound quality and general operation, it’s the back ground images and button names in the control system that make it personal, not the choice in receiver.
