Technology solutions provider Black Box has revealed its latest IP-based and 4K AV solutions at ISE 2019. Black Box unveiled their portfolio including visualisation and distribution solutions, and its capacity to tailor individual pro AV systems.

Solutions from the Black Box team include demos for digital signage, control rooms and conference rooms and education. Software-based video wall processing platform Radian Flex is being used to incorporate the visualisation applications.

The Black Box software displays content across multi-screen displays in various configurations. The Radian Flex interface allows users to move, add and resize content using real time. Radian Flex supports unlimited screens and endpoints. The option to daisy-chain monitors is available, and display large amounts of H.264 and VNC video streams across many monitors.

Black Box video engine supports 4K 60fps video with resolution up to one billion pixels. The Emerald KVM-over-IP product family from Black Box provides flexibility and network security essential to KVM extension and switching. Black Box will feature the Emerald 4K and Emerald SE (Standard Edition) transmitter-receiver at ISE 2019 with pairs for connecting workstations with remote computers and servers over distances up to 10km over single-mode fibre, or even further over IP.

The Emerald 4K allows clear HD or 4K video over an IP network, a proprietary direct connection, or both. It enables extension and switching of video (DisplayPort or DVI), transparent USB 2.0, bidirectional analog audio and serial signals across any combination and number of physical and virtual servers.

Other Black Box products at ISE include the coalesce wireless presentation, the Control bridge multisystem, the MediaCento HDMI-over-IP distribution solution, the In Room booking system and the iCompel digital signage system, all of which are on display 5-8 February at ISE 2019.
