The routers are distributed in Australia by PC Range.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11n draft protocol, due to be finalised next year, promises wireless speeds up to 300Mbps, three times farther than current WiFi networks.
The draft Standard uses multiple wireless antennas to transmit and receive data, and to co-ordinate simultaneous radio signals to increase the network’s range and speed.
