BICSI and InfoComm sign friendship agreement
The official agreement was signed by InfoComm International executive director Randal Lemke and BICSI executive director John Clark Jr.
BICSI and InfoComm International share a mission to further their respective members’ businesses and their industries, which intersect in terms of technologies, as well as their complementary roles in the building, communications and IT industries.
To accomplish their shared mission, InfoComm and BICSI have agreed on mutual points of reciprocity, including establishing reciprocal BICSI continuing education credit and InfoComm renewal units and continuing the current government relations cooperative activities and participation in the Green Building Technology Alliance (GBTA).

Also included in this friendship agreement is a resolution to update the AV Design Reference Manual. BICSI believes that this relationship will enhance and expand BICSI’s dedicated outreach and also will add significantly to its programs and services.
“We are extremely excited to have signed our first friendship agreement with InfoComm International,” BICSI president Brian Hansen says.
“We have worked on so many ventures together over the past few years that it makes sense to have a friendship agreement in place. With this agreement, we have cemented what should be a great relationship moving forward.”
“InfoComm is pleased to formalise our partnership with BICSI through this friendship agreement,” InfoComm International president Tom Stimson says.
“We have created many valuable programs together and look forward to working collectively for the betterment of our industries.”
BICSI currently holds friendship agreements with the Electronic Security Association – formerly NBFAA – and the Telecommunications Industry Association.
