AK700ST offers 4K resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels, featuring a 4000-lumen laser light source that resists ambient light interference to reveal every detail of the golf course terrain and grass.
The projector provides 95% Rec. 709 colour accuracy and exclusive default Gold Mode.
To simplify installation, the ACE Series uses motorised lenses and advanced sensors to automatically recognise screen size, adjust zoom, correct for tilt and produce exact focused images.
Other key features include auto screen fit, quick focus 3D keystone and wireless connectivity, 1.2x motorised zoom and image memory and optimal short throw ratio (0.69-0.83).
BenQ Corporation president Peter Huang states that the AK700ST sets a new standard of professional-grade simulation of 4K golf simulator software.
“Our spectacular 4K visuals capture every detail of the gold course, transforming home practice into professional on-course training,” he says.
BenQ is the world’s first brand to launch a projector lineup specially catered for golf, with the ACE series.
4K projectors are estimated to grow at 14.2% CAGR from 2020 to 2026 according to Precision Reports, with most users watching sports and movies in addition to golf simulation.
