BenQ launches true 4K HDR-PRO home cinema DLP projectors
BenQ has revealed its CinePrime W5700 and W2700 DLP projectors which are 4K home theatre DLP projectors that feature DCI-P3 colour, long-lasting CinematicColour with projector-optimised HDR-PRO support and individual factory colour calibration.
BenQ Australia managing director Martin Moelle says the new products offer enthusiast-level cinema performance.
“Equipped with astounding 4K visuals, precise HDR colour combined with powerful image adjustability and installation flexibility, they perfectly suit small audio-visual screening rooms and living rooms,” he says.

BenQ says that both CinePrime models deliver true 4K performance with 3,840×2,160 resolution and 8.3 million distinct pixels for each frame as well as a 4K-optimised optical system with six structured groups of all-glass lens elements for light transmission and ultimate image quality.
W5700 provides 100% coverage of the super wide DCI-P3 colour space and 100% of Rec. 709 while W2700 covers 95% of DCI-P3 and 100% of Rec. 709, backed by individual factory colour calibration reports ensuring Delta E≤3 colour accuracy.
