BenQ launches new range of collaborative 4K interactive flat panels
BenQ has announced the addition of the RP654K, RP704K, RP750K and RP860K to its interactive flat panel (IFP) line-up. The four new IFPs feature touch-enabled displays, 4K resolution, long-lasting brightness, convenient pen tray and 20-point touch capabilities that allow multiple users to participate.
Designed for use in business and learning environments, the IFPs also have enhanced touch-screen capabilities, including handwriting recognition, as well as onboard speakers that deliver 32W of sound.
The screens are covered in a bacteria-resistant, non-toxic, nano-ionic silver coating that has been tested by inspection, verification, testing and certification company SGS. This germ resistant screen kills most bacteria and viruses on contact by disrupting their cell division mechanism and remains effective even after thorough cleaning or long periods of use.

For a healthier experience for users, the display is enhanced with BenQ’s third-party certified eye-care features, including anti-glare glass, low blue light and flicker-free technologies.
“The RP series is designed to prevent eyestrain and eye fatigue caused by spending too much time in front of a visual display. Students in schools are exposed to information and communications technology for 53% of teaching time so eye care technologies that help reduce eye fatigue during long hours of viewing is important,” says BenQ Australia business development manager Andrew Lambkin.
The RP654K, RP654K, RP750K and RP860K aim to bring an interactive, collaborative solution to schools and businesses, featuring the BenQ-developed InstaQShare. This is an app that can connect up to 16 participants and provides seamless wireless streaming and mirroring of all digital content from a range of devices.
The IFP are also available with DisplayNote, a cross-platform solution that facilitates real-time collaboration across multiple computing and smart devices.
“Today’s evolving presentation and collaboration needs demand visual tools that make participation simple and effective. Using your own unique styling and web-based tools, BenQ IFPs make teaching and collaboration fun and productive right out of the box,” says Andrew.
