BenQ Debuts True 4K UHD HDR Home Cinema Projector Designed for Modern FamiliesBenQ has introduced the CineHome W1700 DLP 4K HDR home cinema projector, which comes fully loaded with 8.3 megapixel true UHD 4K resolution, CinematicColor accuracy and projection-optimised HDR for true-to-life image quality.

“W1700 brings home the magic of big-screen 4K digital cinema to the broader audience. Now, anyone can enjoy spectacular 4K movie nights, complete with advanced audio-visual enhancement and HDR at an amazing value,” says BenQ Corporation president Conway Lee.

The W1700 produces 8.3 million distinct pixels for true 4K UHD performance and uses 0.47” single-DMD DLP technology to minimise the projector’s sleek, compact profile. A pure 4K-optimised optical system produces ultimate image precision and colour accuracy without artefacts that can plague LCD projectors.

The projector also features High Dynamic Range (HDR10) support that offers greater brightness and contrast range with auto image optimisation.

The W1700 employs BenQ CinematicColor technology and RGBRGB colour wheel, with over 96% coverage of Rec. 709 colour gamut and precise Delta E<3 performance to faithfully reproduce exactly what filmmakers intended. It also has CinemaMaster Video+ and CinemaMaster Audio+ 2 technologies with motion-adaptive edge pixel enhancement, sophisticated colour algorithms, flesh tone rendition and dramatic audio processing.

Powered by durable Digital Light Processing, the W1700 delivers long-lasting picture quality with precise colours and sharp clarity without maintenance or degradation.
